What are stock multipliers?

Stock multipliers in WolfPak are a way to order products from suppliers in one quantity and sell the same SKU in a different quantity - think breaking out outers to inners.

For example: You purchase (1x) bag of (x100) lollies with the SKU (LOLLIES) from SupplierA. However, on your website, you sell them as individual lollies (x1) broken up from the bag of 100.

WolfPak provides a way to set a multiplier for that product, so when you receive in (LOLLIES) x1 from SupplierA, it converts 1x into 100x stock units for your website to sell.

FAQ:

Can I have a different multiplier for different suppliers?

Yes! you can, enter them the same way, but add a different supplier to the Edit Suppliers list.

Why is the default multiplier 1?

Every stock item can only have a minimum multiplier of 1. 0 x 5 = 0 right!

When I receipt stock in, why does it only show the original order quantity?

The multiplier works in the background to increase your stock once it is received. So you will still see you are receipting in the outer quantity, however when you submit the PO Receipt - the stock will increase in the factor of the multiplier.

Why is my reorder quantity on my PO's more than it should be?

This could be a result of a couple of things. The main thing to check: is your Reorder QTY set higher than what WolfPak think you need to order? if this is the case, the reorder qty set on the product (as above) will be used.

Where do I see the multiplier shown on PO's?

Under the PO lines, a red warning will show up. You can click on it to see the math it is calculating.
