WolfPak uses a service called PrintNode which needs to be running on either a server or PC within your organization's network.
To check the printer and PrintNode status:
- Click on your name on the top right menu of WolfPak
- Select Printers
Host State
The first to check in the event of issues. If a Host is showing as Disconnected, login to this machine and ensure:
1. It's connected to the internet
2. PrintNode is running
3. PrintNode is logged into your account
Printer State
If the host is Connected but the Printer is showing Offline, check:
1. The printer is plugged into power and data (USB/Ethernet/Wifi)
2. The printer is turned on and is not reporting and errors.
Can you see the PrintNode icon on your computer toolbar?
To see if the PrintNode Client is running and connected, look for the orange and green PrintNode icon in the notification area of your computer. This is in the system tray, which is usually at the bottom right of the screen.
Are you logged into the right PrintNode account?
If you also use eShip, note that this uses a separate client that is not used for WolfPak.
